Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Payments Tester with strong experience in payment systems to join our team. This individual will be integral in testing and supporting the SEPA Instant and ISO 20022 projects. You will analyze business requirements, develop testing plans, and assist throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work mostly remotely with occasional onsite requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze business requirements for payment processing projects, specifically SEPA Instant and ISO 20022.
- Support the delivery team throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure a successful outcome.
- Design and execute test plans for new and existing payment systems.
- Assist with gathering and validating more data within the ISO 20022 framework to reduce the likelihood of financial crime, such as money laundering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on system expansion or bolt-on applications to enable existing systems to ingest more data.
- Assist the SEPA Instant team in testing solutions that facilitate faster cross-border payments across Europe.
- Maintain documentation for developed applications to ensure future maintainability.
- Assist in production support matters when necessary.
- Liaise with line management to determine work requirements and adhere to agreed programming and testing standards.
- Recommend changes to internal standards and/or procedures where appropriate.
