Responsibilities:
- Develop instrument-level alignment, compensation, and optical performance tests
- Collect and perform statistical analysis on metrology data to correlate to performance metrics.
- Understand and trace system inaccuracy sources; determine system-level accuracy and repeatability, e.g., extrinsics
- Help to define test procedures for the verification of a complex automation system
- Works with Machine Vision, Automation, and Mechanical Engineering to actively develop and/or modify automation systems
