We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Testing Analyst to join our team! If you enjoy analyzing technical solutions and collaborating with others, this may be the job for you. In this position, you will work with users and development teams to analyze user requirements and document plans for validating information technology solutions created for major DoD programs. Our team includes multiple functional area groups who support engineers, control boards, and configuration specialists by provisioning desktop tools and constructing custom web applications, frameworks, and collaboration sites designed to meet their business processes’ unique requirements. This position may include the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with users and IT Teams to understand technical requirements, perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks for process and test data accuracy, and assist with the resolution of discrepancies
- Assist in the development and maintenance of testing and training processes, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to successfully integrate with the development teams, in support of meeting defined milestones and deadlines
- Coordinate application build information with developers and distribute the information across the test teams
- Support test event planning and setup for the government acceptance testers. This includes setting up user test accounts and tracking the resolution of test findings.
- Capture meeting highlights/minutes and action items
- Collaborate with test personnel and software engineers to engineer AGILE software solutions to emerging government requirements
- Collaborate with users and development teams to interpret and validate user requirements and understand test and document IT solution design
Requirements:
- Strong preference for 8570 Security+ Certification, A+, CCNA, or Network+ Certification
- Experience using Selenium automated testing software, creating test cases, and testing for 508 compliance
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree from an accredited college or university in a scientific, technical, engineering, or mathematical discipline and one (1) year of experience in developing software or software test plans and test cases;
- Five (5) years of professional experience in developing software can be considered in lieu of a degree
- One (1) year experience in evaluating complex technical products accomplished by multiple organizations consisting of Contractors, Government, and other technical specialists
- One (1) year experience working as a member of technical work groups and integrated product teams
- One (1) year experience in effectively integrating and communicating complex technical and programmatic concepts both orally and in writing with technical experts and management at all levels
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to collect data from different sources and pull information from reports
- Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment and across organizational levels to include coworkers, managers, and government customers
- Ability to work independently
CONTINGENT WORK ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a currently active Interim Secret security clearance. The applicant selected will also be subject to a background investigation.
