Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This position is accountable for the preparation of financial and management reports, the provision of timely, accurate and pertinent analytical information including the compilation of forecasts, and the annual budget/LOM plans.
This position is also accountable for the safe operations and supervision of site stores and procurement activities and is required to support the Group’s internal and external audit activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pr eparation of financial reports
  • P osting of monthly journals, including physicals
  • C omplete monthly timetable and monitor and record performance
  • Complete monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Acc ounting for fixed assets cycle
  • P repare monthly KPI management report and provide insightful analysis to the Federation management team
  • C oordinate, facilitate and participate in cost review meetings
  • C ontinuous monitoring and improvement of relevant, timely and robust reporting
  • C ompilation of budget, forecast and LOM plans
  • D evelop, maintain and apply policies and procedures relevant to role
  • E nsure compliance with GST, FBT and Income Tax regulations
  • P repare FBT return and royalty returns, with maximised outcomes were applicable
  • A ccurate maintenance of the Tax Fixed Asset Register
  • E nsure accurate and timely response to ABS surveys, as required
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors as required
  • A ssist with implementing site and Corporate initiatives as required
  • L iaise and coordinate with corporate office personnel as required
  • P rovide site support for Pronto/Redmap processes and verify application of policies
  • E nsure compliance with safe work practices and achievement of lead indicators
  • A ssist the Group commercial function to develop site and Group contracts
  • En sure processes are in place to effectively administer contracts
