ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Testing Technicians role covers of all aspects of the Holcim’s QA system. This includes wet concrete testing, both at plant and on customer sites, plant and equipment calibrations, raw material sampling and testing, and data entry into quality control systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the testing required of concrete production in accordance with relevant New Zealand standards and published Standard Operating Procedures
• Ensuring concrete production is sampled and tested at a frequency as directed by Management.
• Ensuring raw materials are sampled, tested at the required frequency and that the data is entered in a timely manner.
• Testing on-site is performed when requested or directed.
