Description:
Responsibilities:
- From an idea, an image or a sketch, develop and materialize tests and prototypes by proposing technical and artistic possibilities;
- Carry out fittings with artists, in collaboration with the designer and the various parties involved;
- Ensure the integration of newly-developed work techniques, while continuing technical and artistic research;
- Support production and creative teams in solving problems related to textile issues;
- Use and develop various computer tools related to textile development;
- Ensure continuous improvement by proposing new products and/or manufacturing methods to optimize quality and material efficiency;
- Carry out the necessary research using internal and external resources, in order to diagnose problems and find solutions;
- Act as a reference for buyers when substituting or replacing textiles;
- Write, develop and gather information for technical documents;
- Advise production teams on the use and care of costumes;
- Support production teams in applying APTO quality objectives;
- Respect and apply health and safety rules in force in the workshops;
- Prepare vector documents for mechanized or laser cutting;
- Write and develop semi-finished documentation for external use;
