Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an operational manager for a newly funded LifeArc-Kidney Research UK Translational Research centre.
The post will be based at the Institute in the Park building at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Eaton Road, Liverpool as part of the Department of Women¿s and Children¿s Health in the University of Liverpool. You will have excellent leadership skills, attention to detail and a positive approach to accelerating research for children.
It is expected that you will spend most of the working week on site however flexible working for some of the working week is permitted. You will have the ability to work as part of a large, national team, to tight deadlines and under pressure.
You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent postgraduate qualification or relevant professional experience and a relevant project management qualification. You will be committed to continuing professional development during career in an academic or NHS environment and have attendance on a clinical or academic leadership Programme.
This post is available full time for 4-years from September 2024.
