Description:

Morriston Hospital Theatre department are looking to appoint Band 5 Recovery practitioner. You will be based in Morriston Hospital, but may need to work across site if required. The successful applicant will be part of a team who aim to deliver the highest standards of patient care for our patients within our theatre department.

Continuing professional development is encouraged and you will be expected to promote and participate actively in education, research, clinical governance, audit and guidelines. You will be encouraged to take part in the wide range of educational and training opportunities within the health board.
You should be enthusiastic and flexible in your approach, with a commitment to providing excellence in Theatre care. In return you will be joining a friendly, supportive, highly motivated team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
If you are a Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with current UK professional registration relevant for the post then we’d love to hear from you.
We would welcome applicants with Theatre experience or for those looking for a new challenge. Applicants who do not have previous theatre experience will undergo a full training and support programme to fully equip our staff with the skills they require.
