Description:

Epworth Eastern has opportunities to join our wonderful and supportive team on a casual, part-time or full-time basis as a Theatre Technician.
Join our dynamic team that is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety first. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, patient care, handling equipment, and transportation services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.

We are looking for someone who is a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. You should be professional in your work, have a strong attention to detail, and be quick to learn and adapt.

  • Must have completed a Cert III Theatre Technician qualification
  • We are looking for experience theatre technicians
  • We are also looking for novice theatre technicians who are wanting to complete a 4 month extensive training program, with the view of ongoing employment.
  • You must have a clear understanding and use of medical terminology
  • Understanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices / theatres
  • Flexible working arrangements to best match your work/life balance committed to a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight and Saturday shifts
