We are committed to overcome substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. We are a supportive and dynamic team located in Columbus, Indiana, committed to delivering high-quality, client-centered care. Join us as we guide clients on their path to recovery.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
- Must possess:
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled; exposure to contagious diseases and potentially volatile situations.
- Body Positioning: Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motions; ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Communication: Regular contact through electronic mail, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, and video.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Planning: Screen and evaluate clients to plan and administer appropriate therapeutic treatments using a biopsychosocial assessment.
- Therapy Services: Deliver individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based, best-practice approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused CBT).
- Documentation: Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including diagnostic assessments using DSM V, consistent with agency standards and regulations.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
- Coordination of Care: Consult with external community providers concerning treatment plans and coordinate care as required.
- Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports to courts, probation departments, families, and referral sources when applicable.
- Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients and their families within the treatment program and broader community.
- Supervision: May supervise interns/volunteers as needed.
- Professional Development: Complete annual training to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Lead Therapist.
