Your Opportunity:
Grande Prairie is a growing city with over 60,000 residents and serving approximately 260,000 people in our area. Grande Prairie has something for everyone! Outdoor and indoor recreation opportunities are available at the numerous parks and golf courses, in addition to a state-of-the-art recreation facility and library. The city also has a vibrant arts and culture community with an art gallery, a few museums, and live theater. There are also a multitude of dining and shopping opportunities. With the new Grande Prairie Regional Hospital opening, there is a variety of career options and specialization available for the career minded individual. There will be a focus on trans-disciplinary care planning and a focus on assessment of outcomes. The program requires you to function to full scope and with a high degree of independence. The treatment will be provided within the trans-disciplinary model, with an emphasis on Client and Family Centered Care. You will participate in client teaching, provide consultation and in-servicing, communicate with family, co-workers and other members of the health care team, and perform documentation as required. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay
