Therapy Assistant

at  Northcott

• Deliver therapy programs in Mungindi and surrounds, in the community
• Receive regular & careful support from our Allied Health Professionals
• Casual position, 10 hours per week to begin with room for growth!
  Are you an Allied Health student, perhaps studying externally, living locally looking for some real world paid experience in delivering therapy programs? or a fully qualified AHA ready to further your experience?

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or;
• Certificate IV in Allied Health, - or;
• Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
• Hold a valid NSW Working with Childrens Check and QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
• Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
• Hold current First Aid and CPR.
• Current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
• Capacity to assist in all duties and be confident to do so autonomously.

• Support our clients and their families to achieve their therapy goals with delivery of therapy programs.
• Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals
• Be a champion for our customers and support them to achieve their goals and independence
