Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dudley Rehabilitation Service (DRS), for an individual to support the Neurology service as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner.
This is a great opportunity to work with a well established and high functioning admin team, to enable the specialist Neurology teams to work effective and efficiently. The post holder will be working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Speech therapists, Dieticians and nurses as well as liaising with patients and other services on a daily basis.
The post is full time time (37.5 hours) Monday to Friday, based at Stourbridge Health and Social Care Centre.
To provide effective and efficient rehabilitation under the supervision of qualified therapists to a caseload of adult patients who have had a stroke and require community rehabilitation.
To carry out and progress rehabilitation programs set by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians and Speech & Language Therapists in a variety of settings, including working alone in patient’s homes.
