Transform Lives Through Compassionate Care, Join Our Expert Rehabilitation Team!
Are you passionate about helping others regain their independence? We’re offering a unique opportunity to join our dedicated outpatient team as a part-time Therapy Assistant Practitioner. This is a rare chance to make a significant impact on the lives of patients post-major limb amputation, helping them navigate their rehabilitation journey.
What’s In It For You?
Work within a small, friendly team that values your contribution and offers regular supervision.
Enjoy monthly protected CPD time to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Combine clinical and non-clinical tasks, from 1:1 patient care to vital administrative duties, ensuring no two days are the same.
If you’re an enthusiastic, communicative individual ready to be a part of our service development and eager to make a difference in musculoskeletal outpatient care, we’d love to hear from you!
Apply now and take the first step towards a fulfilling career where your efforts will directly contribute to changing lives!
Please note interviews will be conducted face to face.
As a Therapy Assistant Practitioner, you will manage a caseload of non-complex patients, providing assessments and treatments based on protocols and competencies. You’ll work under the guidance of registered therapists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support timely patient discharge. Your role includes enabling patients and their families to achieve rehabilitation goals through treatment programs developed by Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
You’ll also be involved in mentoring junior therapy assistants, participating in in-service training, and supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-focused care, including participation in a 7-day service as required.
We are dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusivity within our workforce and warmly welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on encouraging those from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities, as well as candidates from our local area.
As part of our commitment to supporting our employees we offer a range of benefits including:
Generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days and increasing to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, in addition to the national Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part time staff);
