Lead Therapist – OCD Unit – Private Mental Health Hospital
Location: Central London (on-site)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on qualification)
Working Hours: 3-4 days (mandatory Mondays and Fridays)

OVERVIEW:

Compass Associates is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior CBT Therapist or Psychologist to join a leading private mental health hospital in Central London. With over 30 years of dedicated service in mental health care, this hospital is renowned for its specialised, evidence-based treatments and commitment to patient well-being.
We are currently seeking an experienced OCD/BDD Lead Therapist. This role is crucial in leading a dedicated team within a specialised six-bed OCD unit integrated with a daycare program.Join a collaborative environment where teamwork and mutual support are paramount. As a Lead Therapist, you will work closely with nurses and other professionals, enhancing the overall quality of patient care.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Psychologist (HCPC) or CBT therapist (BABCP accredited)
Essential leadership experience
Experience working within an inpatient setting
Experience working with complex OCD/BDD cases
Must commit to 3-4 days per week on-site, including bank holidays.

Responsibilities:

Lead the management of the 6 bed OCD unit, ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and provide clinical oversight.
Manage a small caseload of patients, conducting group and one-to-one sessions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote a supportive and effective community ethos.
Report on clinical outcomes and facilitate quality improvement initiatives.
Oversee 2 CBT therapists and 1 Occupational Therapist.
