A Day in the Life

To support our Cranial and Spinal Technologies team, we are currently looking for an experienced Therapy Sales Specialist that would be responsible for sales activities within Swiss Romandie (Lausanne, Montreux).
We offer you a position where you will acquire, maintain, and develop the Spine Therapies (Core Spine, Biologics) within existing and new customers in line with the “District Sales Manager Cranial and Spinal Technologies” guidelines in the defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non-financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic’s reputation in the market.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic’s products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services.
  • Promotes and establishes education of the company’s products and/or services.
  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

Required knowledge and experience

  • Spinal therapy experience, either commercial, or in operating room support.
  • Physician stakeholder management.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Availability to travel up to 70% of working time.
  • Team playing attitude and ability to cooperate within a team.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.
  • Full clean driver’s license.
