In this spirit, we are currently seeking a qualified individual to take on the pivotal role of Thermal and Cooling Lead Design Engineer; in this role you will be responsible for the design, development and validation of advanced cooling technologies for the next generation of gas turbine combustion systems, including development rig and engine test campaigns, planning, monitoring, data reduction and documentation.
In this role you will learn processes that meet business needs across the organization, participate in solving complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University; Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on combustion systems will be preferred
- Basic thermal design experience
- Technical aptitude in combustion science, experimental testing and large data processing
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required

Responsibilities:
- Detailed thermal analysis, design, and test functions required to define components, assemblies, and systems that meet program and product requirements
- Lead complex task related to Technology maturation such as Single component test and/or Full Annular Test, in coordination with different working groups for the design and the manufacturing, including external suppliers
- Use and development of engineering tools to perform thermal evaluations
- Successful planning, design and execution of test programs
- Compliant communications of thermal technical data
