Responsibilities:

ROLE:

We are seeking a talented Thermal Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of fluid dynamics and excellent communication abilities. This role will report to the Thermal Mechanical Engineering Manager and will be integral to advancing our innovative cooling solutions and enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our thermal management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design and development of custom coldplates and other modular components for use in passive coldplate loops, considering factors such as heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and manufacturability.
  • Perform advanced simulations and analyses using software tools to ensure optimal coldplate performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and industry partners to ensure seamless integration of coldplates into overall cooling system designs and effective project execution.
  • Oversee the fabrication and testing of coldplates, conduct experiments, collect data, and iterate designs to achieve desired thermal and mechanical performance.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve coldplate design methodologies, manufacturing processes, and materials selection to enhance overall system efficiency and reliability.
  • Create detailed engineering documentation, reports, and technical presentations to effectively communicate design concepts, testing results, and recommendations to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up 20% of the time
