Description:
Our Thermalhydraulics & Safety Analysis branch is looking for a Thermalhydraulics Analyst!
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Thermalhydraulics & Safety Analysis Branch, the incumbent has the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and qualification of (sub-channel and/or system) thermalhydraulics codes or coupled codes for CANDU and small modular reactors (SMRs).
- Contribute to reactor safety research as part of a multi-disciplinary team in areas such as thermalhydraulics (both experimental and modelling & simulation), reactor physics, and severe accidents.
- Manage Federal Science & Technology (FST), Laboratory-Directed Science & Technology (LDST) and CANDU Owners Group (COG) projects or tasks on an as-required basis, ensuring deliverables and milestones are achieved on time and on budget.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager.
