JOB DESCRIPTION
The RCA Professional supports risk strategy and program management for Elavon Mergers and Acquisitions to ensure rapid speed to market while identifying and mitigating operational risks in alignment in company policies (i.e. Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), Business change risk assessment policies, among others). This position reports to the organization’s First Line of Defense risk team and requires an individual who can work independently, with minimal supervision and take initiative to research and develop solutions to problems. The RCA Professional will be responsible for managing acquired third party relationships, ensuring compliance with related compliance policies and programs. The RCA Professional will master related policies and standards to ensure adequate and effective risk oversight.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than six years of applicable experience
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
- Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective relationship building and negotiation skills
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Applicable professional certifications
