JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank National Association is hiring for the position of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Risk Compliance Specialist (RCS). In this role, collaboration, partnership, and risk mentality are key. This position will partner with Lines of Business, other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals, and RCA Managers to conduct Third Party risk assessments, primarily for Fourth Party but also for Country and Physical Security. This role will also support internal and external business line reviews of key risk components of Third Parties.
The right person for this role will become a subject matter expert in the current processes and have a mindset for change and growth to challenge the status quo. This person will need to be able to build and foster cross functional relationships in TPRM, but also our supporting groups in Privacy, Information Security, Cyber, Compliance, Risk, etc. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM or CISA, and Security+ are helpful.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically more than five years of applicable experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
  • Advanced understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
  • Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
  • Applicable professional certifications
