Today, we employ around 300 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Level 2 Threat Analyst who wants to make a difference in our Managed Security Services.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• ~3 years documented experience within cybersecurity
• A good and broad understanding of cyber kill-chains
• A basic understanding of malware
• A strong analytical mindset and way of working
• Experience in technical report writing e.g. Incident response reports or Penetration testing reports
• Confident in verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders

Documented experience in one or more of the following areas are meritorious:

• Vulnerability Management (Web, OS)
• Penetration testing (Web, OS)
• Threat Hunting
• KQL (Kusto Query Language)

Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we require Swedish citizenship, citizenship in an EU country, or a Swedish work permit.

As an L2 Threat Analyst in the Threat Analyst team at Truesec you will work with a wide range of assignments, including vulnerability research and the production of remediation recommendations to customers of our Vulnerability Management Service (VMS). You will engage in external monitoring of the threat landscape, conduct active hunting and publish threat intelligence reports on your findings.
As a Threat Analyst L2 at Truesec you are expected to have one or more focus areas where you excel in expertise utilized for both internal and external engagements. For this particular L2 Threat Analyst position we are looking for someone with a good understanding of vulnerabilities and how they can be exploited, as well as documented threat hunting experience and good understanding of different attack vectors. You will also be responsible for researching and writing technical reports on the latest trends within the cyber threat landscape.
