This person assists with pricing and stocking of shelves and helps store customers in their purchases.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains store in a neat, attractive manner.
  • Checks, shelves and prices stock.
  • Arranges items on sales floor.
  • Provides service to customers, helping them locate needed items.
  • Assists in scheduling donations and delivery of merchandise.
  • Assists in telephone customer service.
  • Operate cash register if necessary.
  • Assist in storage of merchandise at closing.
  • Performs related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to read, write, and comprehend basic English
  • Six to twelve months of related experience.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish.
  • Ability to operate a cash register
  • Use independent judgment and initiative.
  • Handle public contact and relations effectively.
  • Analyze and resolve problems.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Maintain accurate and orderly records
  • Customer service and public relations techniques.
  • Bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
  • Pricing and merchandising principles.
    The job is 24 hours per week.
