Description

The Ottawa Titans are hiring a persistent, dedicated, passionate and self-motivated Ticket Sales Associate as part of its 2025 Summer Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time seasonal position beginning mid-April and ending at the conclusion of the baseball season.
The selected candidate will play a key role in creating the fan experience through ticket sales and should have an interest in working in the sports industry as a career. The candidate will report to the Director of Ticketing and General Manager and will have an opportunity to gain valuable skills relating to sales, lead generation and customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bilingual (French & English), preferred
  • Desire to work in the sports industry and specifically in a field related to Ticket Sales
  • Willingness and ability to work a variable schedule including late nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed, including all Titans games
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate, problem solve, think outside the box, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
  • Outgoing, confident, highly motivated, and persistent
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic, willing to step beyond your comfort zone
  • Dedicated and passionate about success
  • Canadian citizenship/residency or valid work permit

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field (Business, Sports Management, etc.)
  • Previous sales experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Make cold calls and develop lists for calling to area companies to build new relationships.
  • Prospect and research to grow new sales leads.
  • Assist with and process ticket sales and renewals.
  • Field calls to ensure fan and ticket holder questions are answered.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients - existing ticket holders, prospects, and single-game customers.
  • Diligently track all leads, ensuring consistent follow through and enter customer information in CRM for efficient reporting and effective pipeline management
  • Work assigned sales, promotional, and team events to develop new prospects and referral opportunities during games, marketing initiatives, and other events
  • Provide best-in-class customer service for all prospects, clients and fans
  • Fulfill non-ticketing-related in-game roles as needed on a game-by-game basis
  • Support other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
