Responsibilities:

  • Policy Strategy Leadership: Define the strategic direction for marketplace policies, balancing regulatory compliance, business growth, and customer trust.
  • Complex Policy Design: Lead the development of policies governing seller conduct, product eligibility, and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on scalability and global applicability.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Partner with legal, compliance, operations, and product teams to ensure policies are actionable, enforceable, and aligned with broader organizational objectives.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Proactively monitor and respond to changes in regulatory environments affecting E-commerce operations, updating policies as needed.
  • Impact Assessment: Design and implement metrics to evaluate policy effectiveness, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a mentor to policy team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Crisis Management: Serve as a point of escalation for policy-related issues, making critical decisions in complex or ambiguous situations
