Position Summary:
The Pay Edit Associate for Lakeridge Health will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s payroll processes with a focus on inputting pay correction entries in the scheduling and time and attendance system (UKG Dimensions), investigating historical pay discrepancies, and completing audits to identify errors in support of accurate and timely pay while ensuring compliance with Collective Agreements, Lakeridge Health policies and procedures, and employment laws.
This individual will work closely with Central Staffing and Scheduling team and across the People Services department to address historical pay corrections and support operational leaders as a subject matter expert regarding the pay correction process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll administration, ideally within a healthcare or multi-site organization
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in scheduling ideally within a healthcare setting preferred
  • Degree or a Diploma in payroll administration or related area is preferred
  • Experience with scheduling systems (e.g., TAP, UKG Dimensions, Kronos, or similar) preferred
  • Experience with data entry with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with various stakeholders across departments
  • Knowledge of applicable labour laws and collective agreements is an asset.
  • Proficiency in system reporting and analytics tools
  • Roles and responsibilities subject to change based on the needs of the organization, evolving business priorities or team structure.
  • Required to work occasional weekends and evenings, based on the needs of the organization
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining pay correction forms and ensuring timely data entry into the organization’s scheduling and time and attendance system (UKG dimensions)
  • Work closely with operational leaders to clarify pay correction requests as needed
  • Conduct regular and recurring pay audits by running comprehensive reports and escalating pay errors as they arise
  • Monitor and maintain the pay correction inbox and ensure requests are resolved
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the People Services department to ensure alignment with organizational processes and adherence to Collective Agreements
  • Collaborate with department leaders to provide pay correction support, troubleshoot any errors or issues that may arise, and resolve problems efficiently to minimize pay disruptions
  • Ensure accurate and seamless data entry, addressing discrepancies and ensuring system accuracy
  • Analyze employee time data and quickly identify discrepant information
  • Exercise discretion and sound judgement
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Support the back end of the scheduling and time and attendance system, including data integrity and report generation
