JOB DESCRIPTION

Keegan Group comprises of Keegan Precast Ltd, Keegan Quarries Ltd & Keegan Calcium Carbonate Ltd. of Keegan Quarries Ltd, Keegan PreCast, and Keegan Calcium Carbonate Ltd. We are a well-established and leading supplier of high-quality construction products within Ireland and the UK.
We are looking for a Tipper Truck Driver at our Plant based in Trammon, Rathmolyon, Co. Meath and Duleek.
Days/Hours: Mon - Fri: 7 am-6 pm and Sat: 7 am - 1 pm

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

The capacity to use and read Sat-Nav systems.
A valid license to drive the requisite vehicle.
A knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
No recent driving violations.
A track record of reliability.
The ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as inclement weather or heavy traffic.
A reasonable degree of physical strength and fitness.
Be a self-starter who can work independently and who can multi-task.
Be able to work on their initiative.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Transporting goods and raw materials from our quarries and manufacturing plants to customers.
Planning routes in advance and ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
Overseeing the safe loading and unloading of goods.
Inspect your vehicle for any mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Ensuring machinery is maintained in good condition.
Reporting any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle.
Documenting distance traveled and keeping receipts.
Comply with all relevant rules and regulations.
Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are met.
Other ad hoc duties as requested.
