Overview:
Fountain Tire Nanaimo, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as a Tire Technician!

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET ON TRACK?

• We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year + experience working with passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires
• Experience working as a Service Truck Operator, and with OTR tires is a considerable asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms

• Completing service calls and Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, and medium truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
