REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Recently graduated or in the last year of studies with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in business (economics, finance)
  • Proficiency in English (preferred as C1 or above)
  • Proficient in MS office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proactive and action oriented
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Eager to learn & develop

Responsibilities:

As the FP&A Intern for Western Europe Medtronic’s Structural Heart and Aortic operating units, you will:

  • Analyze market dynamics, revenue, margins and expenses of our products and regions, and coordinate operational actions to drive growth and profitability
  • Learn by organizing and driving finance performance reviews with Western Europe countries’ leaders
  • Update and advance our reporting to answer new needs in a fast-changing environment. Leverage Data Science tools, software and techniques to build insightful analysis.
  • Contribute actively to FP&A activities, including current quarter and rolling forecasts, as well as the annual operating plan cycle.
  • Support finance business partners, marketing and business teams to monitor expense

Internship details:

  • Start date: December 2024
  • Working hours: 40 h/week
  • Location: Milan
  • Work model: hybrid – 2 days in the office
  • Duration: 6 months with possibility to extend for another 6 months
