As Resale Title Agent, you handle daily activities associated with processing resale contract files from inception through closing and recordation! You verify accuracy of contract documents, including finance, recordable and title documents! While also ensuring files are in compliance with underwriting guidelines and title requirements.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Associate’s Degree/College Diploma/Cepeg
- 5+years of related experience
- Notary Public
- Previous timeshare experience
- Streamline and Simplifile program experience is an advantag
Responsibilities:
- Possess in depth knowledge of timeshare documents and all aspects of the title business
- Coordinate client requests and crafts new contract files
- Maintain high call volume while providing an outstanding customer service experience
- Provide high production totals while maintaining a low error percent margin
- Prepare transaction documents by completing forms and statements as well as reviewing existing documents
- Obtain clear title by conducting title searches, resolves title defects, and satisfies existing liens against property or principals
- Complete closing by recording and filing documents, preparing and distributing final closing statements
- Coordinate corrections, adjustments and modifications to contract documentation as necessary
- Interact with pertinent personnel and departments to process contracts through verification and posting to computer system as owners
- Escrow related functions as needed in order to align with regulatory requirements and as needed by management or other internal customers
- Review and audit all deeds before sending to the various counties for recording
- Acquire all issues found with recording packets and handle resolution in a timely manner
- Assist with review, audit and mail out of title policies for all resales and developer sales
- Assist internal and external customers as needed to process resale transactions
- Helps with team member training as needed
- Carry out any reasonable request by management of which the employee can perform

Qualifications

- High school/GED
- 3+years of related experience
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Must have good written, verbal & communication skills
- Ability to multitask assigned duties
- Must have MS Excel experience with crafting and maintaining spreadsheets
