Your contribution:
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10 software developers across three subteams, fostering a collaborative team culture with a focus on building maintainable products.
- Agile Product Development: Guide the agile software development process, ensuring timely and high-quality product delivery. Collaborate with product owners to define product roadmaps and features.
- Architecture and Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight, ensuring adherence to team standards and good practices across legacy and new systems.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Coordinate with the DevOps engineer to maintain and improve the underlying infrastructure in private and public cloud environments.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the development team, product owners, and other departments, ensuring clear communication and facilitating effective collaboration.
What you bring along:
- You have at least 3 years of experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
- You have a strong background in software development and architecture; preferably with Python or TypeScript and their respective ecosystems. You are familiar with domain-driven design, web development and the development of data-processing applications.
- You have broad technical experiences running applications in the cloud, preferably on Kubernetes.
- You have a fundamental understanding of agile software development beyond Scrum.
- You are an excellent communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (CEFR C1 level or higher), ideally also in German.
