TM1 Developer - Planning Analytics

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client’s (155 Wellington St W) and/or downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Job Description for Developer - Planning Analytics TM1What will you do:

• Drive Implementation and lead development and technical efforts for EPM using IBM Suite of products.
• Design innovative solution using best practices and customizing for the business specific needs.
• Make the granular design decisions around acquiring, loading data, coding principles.
• Be a hands-on SME advising, implementing, testing and training.
• Communicate timely and accurate updates on the various initiatives, update on any risks following the set protocols.
• Collaborate. You will work closely with internal and external contacts to ensure we are delivering a robust solution meeting client’s specification.
• Mentor. You will support and mentor the developers and support teams.
• Develops, codes, documents and executes unit test, system, integration and acceptance test for functions of high complexity.Must-have:
• Developer experience in any one of the toolsets like IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC
• Strong coding experience, development background with experience in solution and designing.
• Programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Visual Basic and Java
• Ability to extract, transform, and load data with a variety of data types. Skills in any ETL toolsets.
• Ability to perform complex data analysis on large volumes of data and present findings to stakeholdersNice-to-have:
• Strong Proficiency with Excel, Building complex models & macros in excel
• Python programming using REST APIs
