We are looking for a Transportation Analyst to support our Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Transportation Planning Team. In this role, you will primarily be active in our new developed Transport Management System (TMS), creating shipments and follow up on them, ensuring timely pickup and delivery. Our scope spans from the raw material supplier to the customer. A proactive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. In this role, you have the chance to truly impact the lives of our patients.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Transport and/or Economics
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Transportation position
  • General knowledge of SAP and Transport Management Systems
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
    Experience in working in a multinational healthcare environment and being yellow belt certified are considered advantages for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the Point of Contact for Sites for Transportation Matters and executing plans in accordance with transportation policies and procedures
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing shipment activities, collaborating with other business functions for efficient transportation execution
  • Ensuring deliveries are punctual and cost-effective and optimizing modes and carriers to achieve service /cost goals
  • Maintaining robust communication with carriers, suppliers/vendors and customers
  • Addressing carrier exceptions and escalating when needed. Including Manually load non-ERP shipments into the TMS
  • Resolving track and trace exceptions, such as customs delays
  • Initiate process improvement initiatives
