ABOUT US:
We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility in Niagara Falls.
REQUIREMENTS:
- - Minimum Grade 12 Diploma with a Certificate of Qualification as a Licensed Tool & Die Maker
- - Minimum 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting progressive & transfer dies in a Stamping environment
- - Thorough understanding of relevant machinery and equipment
- - Tig and Mig welding experience an asset
- - Ability to work in a team environment and support continuous improvement activities
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- - Excellent interpersonal, planning, analytical, and organizational skills
- - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- - Ability to read blueprints and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations
- - Ability to work rotating shifts and extended work hours

Responsibilities:
- - General maintenance on dies, including sharpening, polishing, and replacing broken and worn parts
- - Set up, operate, adjust, repair, and maintain equipment
- - Design new tools to replace broken/worn out tools
- - Machine and fabricate improvements to dies to suit engineering changes
- - Perform calculations for tool and die procedures
- - Read and interpret engineering drawings and component prints
- - Troubleshoot to produce quality parts
