Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tool Room Technician to join our exceptional team in Mebane. As a Tool Room Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless operation of our manufacturing processes, contributing to our world-class products that make a positive impact on a global scale. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of machine shop experience, including CAD required (Apprenticeship Program or certification from a technical school can be considered).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
• Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• Strong emphasis on collaboration, achieving outcomes, and demonstrating leadership abilities.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Proficiency in multi-cavities tools, hot runner systems, CNC Lathe, Grinding Machine, Milling Machine, Laser Welder, Roll-O-Matic, Mold Flow analysis, Solid Works, Master CAM, and tip tools.
