Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Tooling Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Sr. Tooling Engineer, Tooling Engineer role involves being responsible for designing and engineering tooling protocols for molds, jigs and fixtures as required to meet products specifications.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs the team in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning.
• Design and engineer moderately complex tooling protocols for molds, jigs, and fixtures as per product specifications.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Perform Design for Manufacturability (DFM) evaluation.
• Implement cost effective tool design changes.
• Collaborate with other team members to qualification, sampling, and final part approval.
• Provide status reports as per established schedule.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to tool room equipment.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Strong Plastics manufacturing industry experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced English.
• NX & Solidworks strong knowledge.
• Demonstrates proficiency in performance development, teaching/ leading, mentoring and/or organizational development.
• People management previous experience.
• Ability to apply common sense and to analyze and solve tooling problems.
• Molding Manufacturing previous experience.
• CNC EDM Machine Programming.
• Experience in conventional machining.
• Engineering Drawing analysis and interpretation.
• Execute plans for conventional & non conventional machines.
