The Finance department based in the Cork Campus supports all functions of Apple in EMEIA, including the European Sales Fulfilment, AppleCare after-sales services, European Logistics, Manufacturing & Operations, Apple Media Products, Apple Retail as well as being the Shared Services Centre for EMEIA. Engineering & Operations Finance partners with the Engineering, Operations, and AppleCare teams to optimize the world’s most innovative supply chain and provide the best possible customer experience. Intricately connected with their business partners, Engineering & Operations Finance provides analysis for insightful decision making. The team is located in five major global sites: Cupertino, Austin, Shanghai, Singapore, and Cork. This role is in the Operations Finance team, reporting directly to the Tooling and FP&A Finance Manager. Each Analyst is primarily responsible for the management of costs and controls within a specified business area. The team interacts directly with the key partners, which includes Corporate Procurement, GBS and Ops Finance, Technical Accounting, Tax and several Operations groups. There are 5 members working in the FP&A Finance team with varied finance and accounting qualifications. Each team member actively engages with and supports key business partners within the local business teams to provide analytical & decision-making support, as well as being responsible for quarter end close & forecasting activities within their function. You will have phenomenal exposure to not only the Ops Finance team but also the wider Apple organization. DESCRIPTION

Approve Tooling Spend across Apples Global Tooling landscape Maintain Tooling budgets to prevent overspend Review requests to sell or dispose Apple’s manufacturing assets Provision of KPIs & Management metrics to help the business understand key cost drivers. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with Senior Operations and Finance personnel. Partner cross-regionally with peers and senior finance managers in APAC and WW to develop and implement global initiatives. Maintenance of Tooling SOX controls Provide ad-hoc support to the EMEIA Operations Finance management team

  • Qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQEPart-qualified accountant with significant relevant experience will also be considered
