The Total Mental Health (TMH) Supervisor will work daily on the project build of the TMH/EMH solutions, this includes decision making, creating process flows and manage daily changes that come down to operations from the development/ products team. They will need to understand impacts and cascade information to other departments such as Worklife, Provider billing and Care Navigators. The TMH Supervisor is responsible for supervision, coaching and development, and assist in hiring/terminating employees on their team. Day-to-day tasks such as scheduling, payroll administration, dealing with difficult situations, and providing consultations. In addition, liaising with other departments, other teams within the TMH and corporate clients as needed.

Project Management:

  • Regular meetings with individuals/depts. for planning and new client launch.
  • Collaborate with and implement programs handed down from Operations Manager.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on various projects.
  • Act as a decision maker within designated projects.
  • Act as User Acceptance Tester on new launches.

Direct supervision of staff:

  • Providing feedback regularly and as part of monthly supervisions.
  • Creating, with the employee, action plans and goal setting.
  • Provide support and direction where needed.
  • Assist with recruitment/terminations/performance letters etc.
  • Yearly performance appraisals and salary reviews.
  • Deal effectively with employees in crisis or urgent situations whether work or non-work related.
  • Effectively and efficiently, manage the call queue and conduct floor management.
  • Assist the with recruitment and hiring decisions as required.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Payroll/sick/vacation/lieu time tracking
  • Scheduling assistance to WFM department.
  • Maintaining other employee files/records as required.

Assist to other supervisors and their teams within the department:

  • Provide backup supervision for other teams when supervisors are absent/not available.
  • Peer supervision for other supervisors.
  • Take leadership role in times of Disaster Recovery and understand Disaster protocols.

Liaison with other departments and corporate clients:

  • Take part on various interdepartmental committees.
  • Presentations and meetings to other departments regarding issues related to TMH.

Other duties as assigned:

  • Participate in regular Supervisor Meetings.
  • Lead Team Meetings.
