Location Description:
Hopkins, MN is home to our Michael Foods, Inc. corporate headquarters. Hopkins is located 7 miles west of Minneapolis, boasting natural surroundings in a suburban environment that also provides quick access to major travel ways and local restaurants that give our community a distinct character. Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the flow of work between the HR groups and the Shared Services group. This position entails being a liaison in the Total Rewards processes. The Total Rewards Administrator provides office support to the Human Resources team and leaders by performing a multitude of responsibilities.

EDUCATION:

High school degree plus one year of specialized or technical training in office administration or secretarial/administrative services.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong computer skills required, including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Ability to maintain record keeping and filing systems.
  • Knowledge of generating and formatting reports.
  • Knowledge of Payroll and/or Human Resource systems (Kronos and UltiPro) a plus.
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks to complete multiple and varied work assignments in a timely manner.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; high confidentiality is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Corporate employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes by performing such duties as: leading new hire orientations, completing paperwork for new hires and processing terminations in systems.
  • Assist with MiSource and Ulti requests and entries.
  • Complete audits based on company compliance calendar.
  • Generate and audit department and company reports and assist with communication and distribution.
  • Responsible for keeping HR files up to date and compliant.
  • Update and maintain personnel records by performing data entry on employee-related changes, including new hires, address changes, position changes, salary changes, and department transfers in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist with implementation and management of company-wide Rewards & Recognition programs.
  • Assist with hiring bonus and relocation programs.
  • Assist with SOP updates.
  • Special event planning and meeting set up for HR department as needed.
  • Provide general office support as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
