Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

We are searching for a strategic, collaborative, action-oriented Director of Total Rewards who will provide strategic guidance in the company’s total rewards design, implementation, administration, and communication. This leadership role will report directly to the Chief HR Officer, will be a part of the global HR Leadership team, and lead a team of 6 HR professionals across compensation, payroll, and benefits. This position will oversee the administration of all Total Rewards processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan administration, recognition practices and sales compensation practices globally. This leader will ensure that RealTruck’s Total Rewards strategy supports the organization’s business objectives and meets all legal and regulatory requirements internationally.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited university or college is required.
  • 10+ years of relevant business experience is required.
  • International compensation experience required.
  • Experience managing hourly compensation across corporate and manufacturing or warehouse/distribution centers required.
  • 5+ years Total Rewards/compensation experience is required, 10+ years is preferred.
  • 3+ years of team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of prior experience working in private equity is preferred
  • 2+ years working in a publicly traded companies is preferred
  • Previous experience supporting IPO readiness activity and public company reporting is preferred.
  • Previous experience leading executive compensation as part of a publicly traded company, including preparation of compensation data for proxy disclosures and compensation committee reviews is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience with Sales Incentive compensation is preferred.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven ability to influence others and build collaborative team partnerships required.
  • Intellectual agility, analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven ability to develop creative solutions required.
  • Expert at leveraging data and tools for research and analysis required.
  • Ability to perform strategy development and execution of multi-location/multi-state/multi-country compensation/total rewards programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and persuasive communication skills; experience interacting effectively with top management. Board presentation experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prepare proxy disclosure and deliver compensation committee updates/recommendations.
  • Strong market analysis capabilities for compensation structures supporting domestic hourly and salaried personnel and variable pay strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance practices related to compensation, health and welfare plans, Workers’ Compensation, 401(k) Savings Plans, and Executive Plans.
  • Strong knowledge of current market competitive trends and practices.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
  • Outstanding analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player that can be proactive, responsive and customer focused with demonstrated experience, effectively collaborating cross-functionally and departmentally.
  • Ability to effectively delegate, coach, and develop others; ability to lead the function as an integral part of a broader Human Resources team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with extreme discretion.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient with HRIS, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Manager+: This position will plan, staff, evaluate, and direct work of employees of a work unit. This role will have direct reports.
