The successful team member will be self-motivated, flexible, creative, and able to juggle an array of responsibilities, with broad knowledge and expertise across human resources. This role is responsible for all elements of leading the payroll, benefits, leaves, and compensation practices. This includes employment for individuals throughout the United States and Canada. We are a fast-growing and innovative team and are looking for the right person to help support our growth and all of our team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Management/Finance or related field preferred
- A minimum of 10 years related HR experience, at least 7 of these years focused in payroll, multi-state taxes, and reporting, international taxes and reporting, and benefits management
- Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/state/local regulations and laws and ability to stay current on laws and regulations that would impact the business
- Highly analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
- Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential
- Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits across the US, Canada, and International preferred
- Experience in Payroll and HRIS systems such as Paylocity or something similar
- Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with various teams
