As RAA launch our new Adelaide Metro Tow Fleet helping us deliver a better experience for our members when they need a tow, this exciting new opportunity will see you be responsible for overseeing and optimising all aspects of Towing Operational activities through a strategic lens that drives continuous improvement and operational efficiency. In addition, you will:
- Manage metropolitan towing operations to ensure the provision of quality member service.
- Motivate and engage with your Towing Team Leaders to ensure their understanding of organisational direction and their value and contribution to Towing team outcomes
- Manage the development and maintenance of Towing work practices to achieve service outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS Legislation, Codes of Practice Standards, Policies, Operating Procedures and work instructions and being actively involved in RAA’s WHS systems and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Ensure communication is maintained with Towing Team Leaders and Tow Truck drivers, especially in the areas of change management and RAA activities
- Ensure Towing Team operating costs are monitored and controlled within budgetary constraints

For this role, we’re also looking for:
- Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration, Business Management or a related discipline
- Strong personal leadership that can build a high-performing team
- Experience in heavy vehicle logistics or tow truck operations highly desirable
- Experienced in developing and implementing plans and projects
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders
- Outstanding attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be an innovative thinker with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
