About the role
We are looking for a talented Project Manager - Track to join our Rail team and work on the successful delivery of the track works associated with the Sizewell C project.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure that expenditures align with the budget and that resources are utilised efficiently to maintain cost control.
  • Ensure that operational milestones reflect the master schedule and meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure reports provide relevant information that enables informed, cost-effective decisions consistent with the overall strategy.
  • Ensure scope and package assignments support coordinated teamwork.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the Health & Safety Management System and implement improvements as needed.
  • Contribute to periodic project reviews and update the Digital Briefcase in accordance with GBL guidelines.
  • Ensure the team maintains accurate project records, including progress reports and daily diaries.
  • Prepare both internal and external reports and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement and update resource allocation plans, raising appropriate requests as necessary.

Who we’re looking for

  • Able to demonstrate a track and strong record of project delivery within the Rail sector. (essential)
  • Good understanding of the standard forms of contracts
  • Proficient in commercial/project management communications.
  • Experience in implementing safe systems of work.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbal and written with all levels of the organisation
  • Effective team management skills which empower, influence & inspire others to build effective teams.
  • Able to undertake work in high pressure situations.
  • Good knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
  • Record of a solution-based approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team
