About the role
We are on the lookout for an experienced Trade Assistant to assist our technicians in the Mechanical section of our Dandenong branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing equipment for hire including completion of equipment run ups for non-high risk equipment
  • Under supervision, assist in carrying out basic mechanical inspections, scheduled servicing, routine maintenance and repairs for non-high risk equipment in accordance with manufacturer/ SHEQ requirements
  • Inspect equipment upon return and immediately report any customer equipment damage to allow costs to be captured
  • Assist in monitoring reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
  • Ensure all paperwork in relation to repairs and maintenance is completed
  • Undertake yard and workshop duties including assisting in loading &unloading equipment, housekeeping duties to ensure a clean work environment
