About the role
Onsite Rental Group is seeking a dedicated Trade Assistant to join our team in Dandenong VIC.

As a Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our trade professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our onsite activities. Your main tasks will include:

  • Inspect and repair portable buildings as required to ensure they are structurally sound and presented to a high standard
  • Build and install structures and fixtures such as kitchens, cabinetry, windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware in portable buildings and caravan
  • Repair damaged ceiling, flooring, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork
  • Fill cracks or other defects in plaster and plasterboard
  • Perform basic pluming work
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted in full and on time

  • Sound knowledge hand tools and the ability to work to plans, drawings or job cards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to work autonomously and be self-motivated
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence LF (forklift) - Desirable
  • Elevating Work Platform Licence - Desirable
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card) - Desirable
