We are looking for a TRADE COMPLIANCE ANALYST talent, to join our specialized TRADE AND COMPLIANCE team for our CORPORATE department for CIUDAD JUAREZ, CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Customs operation tasks, import/export (indirect material, machinery, equipment, etc.), customs compliance review (RRNA, Taxes, etc.) and contact with the customs agent’s staff.
  • Knowledge of the import/export process, application codes, applicable customs regulations, work under pressure, organized, teamwork and customer service.
  • Office tools good knowledge.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Foreign Trade, Customs Operation, Business Administration or another related field is required.
  • Customs systems (Aduanasoft, Global Trade, etc.).
  • Visa valid (Preferred).
  • Fluent Spanish.
  • Intermediate English (preferred).

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position you will have an impact by:

  • Researching and monitoring local laws, regulations, procedures, and applicable benefits related to import/export transactions.
  • Monitoring import/export activity for all business units in the assigned geography.
  • Building and maintaining ¿ relationships with appropriate governmental organizations and other resources.
  • Communicating with brokers to ensure that the organization has appropriate supporting documentation and consistent compliance with import/export regulations. At same time to be in touch NAD internally to follow-up different transactions.
  • Coordinating with broker agent classifier of indirect import material.
  • Reviewing of indirect material information declared by the Cummins ELP Warehouse.
  • Generating of import/export invoice for indirect material.
  • Coordinating and review with MX Broker for generation of final import requests (A1).
  • Reviewing physical of import and export machinery and equipment data.
  • Providing support and advicing to the different departments of the company for Customs processes.
  • Reviewing of information on the hazardous material declared by the Cummins ELP warehouse.
  • Generating of goods material import invoice.
  • Hazmat invoice submission to UPS for CBP approval.
  • To do notifications to the Warehouse and buyer of Chemical Products of the approved invoices.
  • Compiling data and updates metrics as requested.
