Description:

THE TRADE COMPLIANCE MANAGER:

  • Ensures import and export compliance for satellite components and subsystems in/to all current and future ICEYE locations, including Finland, Poland, Spain, USA, UAE
  • Identifies and manages export controlled/restricted components, especially EAR/ITAR
  • Acquires import/export licences for satellite components and related tools & equipment
  • Manages inward processing relief (IPR) procedure in cooperation with local customs and authorities
  • Internal and external reports and documentation including supplier end-user statements and Intrastat reporting
  • Defines compliance guidelines, processes, ways of working, roles and responsibilities
  • Conducts internal audits to ensure processes are followed
  • Evaluates compliance requirements, identifies risks, gives recommendations, and consults internally and communicates with external parties e.g. local authorities and suppliers whenever required.
  • Leads complex trade compliance and regulatory projects
  • Acquires and maintains independently up-to-date information about relevant regulations concerning the entire supply chain
  • Provides training for staff and raises awareness of regulatory matters

    What is the role?
    ICEYE Global Supply Chain is looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Manager for ensuring full compliance with all import and export regulations including EAR/ITAR and customs regulations in all current and future ICEYE locations. The role offers the opportunity to develop efficient and optimized end-to-end processes and to implement them with immediate effect. The role requires expertise in a variety of regulatory matters and proactive response to constant changes. You will be navigating complex regulatory matters, preparing internal guidelines, relevant documentation and keeping stakeholders informed and trained.
