twentyAI are currently partnered with a Tier One Investment Bank who are looking for a Trade Controls BA to come into the business on an initial six-month contract, with the strong chance for extension.
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analysts to support a high-impact trading controls and market conduct programme. This role involves building frameworks for trading supervision, enhancing compliance, and executing controls around trading operations. You will be a key part of an international change team working out of London, with close coordination with teams in the US and India.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an investment bank or similar environment, ideally with a background in front-office trading control, compliance, or market conduct programmes.
- Strong understanding of the trading floor and market conduct regulations, with the ability to work effectively with both non-technical and technical teams.
- Experience in large-scale, international change projects is essential, as is familiarity with the regulatory landscape affecting trading operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate coordination with US-based teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior trading floor managers and other business stakeholders to identify and implement controls around trading activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Map backend processes and develop effective frameworks to supervise and regulate trader conduct, mitigating risks of insider trading and enhancing control environments.
- Act as a change agent, working with technical and business teams to oversee the quality of project delivery, particularly as the programme transitions to its second phase led out of London.
- Participate in market conduct projects with hands-on Business Analysis tasks, without direct trader interaction but with regular engagement with trading managers.
