YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Supply Chain management, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience with Trade, Customs and Export Compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Supply Chain Operations
  • Proactive and collaborative working style
  • Good Data-Analytic skills
  • Knowledge of SAP GTS (Global Trade Service) will be an added advantage

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Tax and Trade (APAC), you are required to:

  • Drive and contribute to CBO (Cross Border Optimization) saving targets via FTA (Free Trade Agreement) implementation and optimization projects within APAC, including cross functional collaboration
  • Ensure FTA savings realisations and support any FTA related issues raised by business/operations.
  • Contribute and establish export controls, both existing and new for all of APAC (applicable to both Dual use and Drug precursors)
  • Support any export control related issues/questions raised by business/operations.
  • Drive the Customs Broker management initiative to all APAC businesses to have better visibility of Customs Broker’s performance in terms of compliance level.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate export processes.
  • Support and perform all planned trade compliance health checks for APAC region
  • Support and deliver all trade trainings for business/operations and new trade specialists.
  • Support any ad-hoc projects (M&A etc.)
