As Trade Marketing Account Manager, you’ll provide marketing support for ASICS’ Key Account retailers. You’ll be tasked with developing and executing activation plans that work hand-in-hand with our marketing, sales and account objectives, helping us to hit business-wide targets.
As our current Trade Marketing Account Manager will be on parental leave, we are looking for a candidate to cover and gain experience with ASICS during a period of approximately 10 months, ideally starting in December or early January.
Based in our new office in Nydalen Oslo, Norway, you’ll become our in-house retail expert, a fountain of knowledge about the online and offline shopping experience. Your marketing know-how will prove invaluable as you collaborate with our customers, agencies and colleagues to deliver campaigns that stand out from the competition in the market place.

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCES ARE WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

  • University degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in developing & executing (Trade) Marketing plans, in Sporting Goods, Fashion, Consumer Electronics, FMCG or strong retail experience
  • Flexibility to work on own initiative or within team and a cross-functional matrix organization
  • Excellent presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Norwegian and English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Attention to detail in planning and execution of tasks whilst maintaining the wide strategic direction
  • A holder of a clean driving license for travel in Nordics
  • Well experienced in software as InDesign and Photoshop
  • Competent working with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-brand and locally-relevant trade marketing plans
  • Liaise with retailers to recommend point of sale improvements
  • Launch new products and brand initiatives according to strategy
  • Evaluate and improve activities against objectives
  • Be an active and supportive member of the marketing team and provide day to day support in executing the trade marketing plan & achieving our goals
  • Collaborate with our sales team across a range of tasks
  • Track budgets to ensure spending stays in line
